The new solo album of multitalented rock-, pop-, soul-, blues-lady Maria Hänninen will be out 30.9.2009 on Samsara Records. The album includes five new songs by Maria herself and six tasteful covers, like Bessie Smith´s Wild About That Thing or Charlie Rich´s Handsome. Maria and the guitarman Luumu Kaikkonen played all the instruments so watch out for this spicy and tasty release. www.mariahanninen.net New album from Teemu Raita in january 2010!The second album of singer / songwriter Teemu Raita will be out in january 2010. The debut Kuuleeko Maa? was quite a hit in radio stations and the first pop-album in Finland also in SACD-system. New distributor!A great deal of new fresh things is happening in Samsara World. We got a new distribution deal, so our new products will all be available in Finland on Töölön Musiikkitukku from 1.4.2009 www.toolonmusiikkitukku.com The first new release will be Melankolics wonderful pop-album Days Of Engine And Oil 1.4.2009 and the next a real modern rock gem, Doggtown´s second album Re: Construction on 8.4.2009. And the third new one is the first solo album from a well known drummer Kepa Kettunen called Long Prairie River and will be in shops 15.4.2009. That album contains also a comic book so you´ll be surprised in many ways. The Melankolics and Doggtown´s record release party will be at Ravintola Belly; Helsinki 9.4. and Kepa´s Long Prairie River release gig 15.4.in Malmi Talo Helsinki.
More: 5.2.2009 - Melankolics will release their long awaited debut "Days Of Engine And Oil" on 1.4.2009The fouir piece pop band melankolics will release their long awaited debut album on the first of April. The release will be made through Samsara Records located at Vantaa. The album bears the name "Days of engine and oil". Including 11 songs, two of which have already been released as digisingles - Desert in me ja Happy Now? The band plays big english pop, which is taken a step further with the violin that is also a part of the live combo. At the same time, the band will also start active touring, that they kick off at Lahti on the first of April.
