(Taina01) EAN: 6430022640207 Tainatar was born when Pekka Pitkäkoski and Antti Polameri got together in 2001 and decided to make music together. Since that the group have mixed together elements of progressive-rock with world-, folk-, jazz- and art-rock kind of music. But what´s most important, they make songs. The most songs on this debut are composed and written by band´s drummer Antti Polameri. The other personal thing, characteristic of Tainatar-sound is vocalist Mia Sauranen´s voice. The lyrics are based on traditional story-telling kind of narration where time and mysteries mix together with happenings of everyday life. The magnificent painting in the cover of this album is made by Tuire Toivola. As Antti Polameri points out the bands philosophy: ”We like do just that kind of music that we love to listen to.” |
