FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Can the new S4R 1.1 be used for mixing?
Since the S4R 1.1 has a similar frequency response to the S4X reference model, it will do an excellent job for preliminary mixing and producing. The closed cabinet has its flaws regarding the sound stage, though, so our recommendation for mixing and mastering lies with the S4X model.
